Infertility and the Latter-day Saint Woman

Infertility is one of the hardest diagnoses a woman can ever recieve. It's not just a physical experience, it's emotional, mental, and spiritual.

During this live class, I'll address common and heartbreaking issues such as:

  • Identity

  • Body Betrayal

  • Feeling out of control

  • How to advocate for yourself and set boundaries

Through a series of strategies, I can help you navigate the changes that take place in day-to-day life after an infertility diagnosis.

This class is offered live in January, 2027. When time and date is determined, I'll announce it in my newsletter first. Sign up here to be the first to know.

Finding the Right Therapist for You

Counseling Session

Are you considering therapy, but you don't know where to start? Let me help you. As both a mental health therapist and a client, I've been on both sides of the couch. In this free video I can help you:

  • Find referrals so you don't waste your time and energy

  • Understand therapy options

  • Vet therapists via online resources

  • Discuss faith with a potential therapist

Therapy can be daunting, but with the right therapist, you can work through whatever holds you back and reach for a brighter future.

If you've taken the leap, and you're ready to begin your therapeutic journey, you may still have a bunch of questions. Why is there so much paperwork, and what do I do if I feel things aren't going well? This video covers all of those things and more.

In this video we'll work through:

  • Paperwork--including confidentiality and insurance

  • Boundaries

  • Hardship and hope

  • Things that should NOT happen

  • Things that NEED TO happen

  • What to do when therapy isn't working

Six Things To Expect In Therapy

Therapy Session
Relational Communication
Office Discussion

Whether you're talking with your boss, a family member, or a neighbor conversations can be tricky. My main goal in creating this class is to help people take a look at their own communication style and see where they can make changes to enhance their ability to both understand and be understood.

When we feel as if we've done our best to communicate with others, we're better able to determine how best to move forward in our relationships.

Unmasking Perfectionism
Stressed Office Woman

I understand perfectionism because it's part of the script I've followed for most of my life. I've also recognized it in clients.

In my upcoming series, I'll outline the many facets of perfectionism. We'll also explore the damage caused by perfectionism and why we find it so attractive.

I'll also offer you some strategies to help you become more aware of how perfectionism is running the show and how to work through it when it shows up.

Gratitude
Sitting on Rock

In our day-to-day lives of packed schedules, alarming headlines, and busyness it's easy to overlook the simple things that can help us navigate a complicated world.

Gratitude offers us exactly what we need for these times. It invites us to slow down, see the good in our lives and in others, and encourages us to recognize God in our daily lives.

I've spent years studying, practicing, and teaching gratitude to clients. Let me invite you to a whole new way to experience a simple thing that can change your life.

Understanding Your
Personal Values

Romantic Gift_edited.png

What matters to you? I mean, deep down matters. If you're not sure, that's okay. Most people don't really know, because although our values inform our choices and guide our behaviors, they often don't announce themselves in the process. But what if you could better understand these deeply held beliefs?

In this video, we'll discuss how to:

  • Help make the connection between your values and setting boundaries

  • Encourage the understanding of the values of other people, helping us navigate conflict

  • To work through the consequences of going against our value system

  • Explain the role values play in our relationships and why it's not enough to simply value family, our covenants, or our Church membership
